In December, an international investor conference will take place in Wiesbaden, near Frankfurt. This event, traditionally organized biennially by the German Shareholders’ Association (DSW) and the European Federation of Investors & Financial Services Users (BETTER FINANCE), will this year be held under the title "Europe at a Crossroads – Are We Still Competitive?" This significant gathering, which accompanies the General Assembly and the meetings of BETTER FINANCE’s Executive Board and Legal Committee, is regularly attended by numerous senior representatives of institutions and international corporations. The VZMD President, Mr. Kristjan Verbič, will participate for the tenth time (glimpses from 2016, 2018 & 2022).
As a founding and active member of BETTER FINANCE, VZMD invites participants from Slovenia and partners from the region and beyond to take part directly. Attendance has already been confirmed by several investors from the United States, with whom Mr. Verbič established business ties during his visit to the U.S. in January this year. Additionally, VZMD will once again ensure a proper presentation of investment opportunities, activities, and possibilities for companies and investors as part of its international business-investor programs: Invest to Slovenia – investo.si & International Investors' Network – investo.international.
The investor conference in Wiesbaden will mark the conclusion of an intensive year of international activities under VZMD’s business-investor programs for 2024. This year, the programs facilitated direct participation in Miami, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, San Marcos, Ghent, Brussels, Sofia, Vilnius, Paris, Budapest, Milan, Shanghai, Paris (again), and Brussels (again).
