This lengthy tour started with the participation in the economic delegation to Vietnam, which accompanied the Vice-President of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ms. Tanja Fajon, on the occasion of her official visit. The delegation attended conferences and numerous meetings in the Vietnamese capital Hanoi and Vietnam's largest city Ho Chi Minh City, where Mr. Verbič boarded the plane for Singapore in response to the invitation by the organizers to attend one of the flagship tech events in Asia – Asia Tech x Singapore (ATxSG).

VZMD President left the Asian part of the tour to visit Brussels, where he attended the meeting of the European Federation of Investors and Financial Services Users (BETTER FINANCE), the meeting of the World Federation of Investors (WFI) as well as the high-profile international investor conference, where Mr. Verbič also met European Commissioner, Ms. Mairead McGuinness. From Brussels, he travelled to Helsinki, where he attended – as a member of the Expert Advisory Group of the Financial Services User Group at the EUROPEAN COMMISSION (FSUG) – an important two-day meeting of the Group.

After the busy stopover in Europe, Mr. Verbič visited Seoul, where he joined the economic delegation to South Korea, accompanying the Vice-President of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia, and the Minister of the Economy, Tourism and Sport, Mr. Matjaž Han, on the occasion of their official visit. The delegation's wide-ranging agenda included many receptions, the opening of the Slovene booth at the KOREA IMPORT FAIR, the opening of the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia, the visit to the KIA research and development center (HYUNDAI Motor Group) and the final dinner hosted by Ho-Sung Song, President of the KIA Corporation.

VZMD President left South Korea to fly, via San Francisco and Los Angeles, to New York, where he was invited to speak  (VIDEO: https://fb.watch/lZYztbV8-Y/) at the WORLD LAW CONGRESS,  organized by the WORLD JURIST ASSOCIATION, an organization with special status at the United Nations, to celebrate its 60th anniversary. Distinguished international guests, including high-level representatives of states, judges, prosecutors and global authorities in the field of law and justice, were addressed by the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, the King of Spain, Felipe VI, the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, the Nobel Peace Prize laureate, Maria Ressa, and others. During the busy two-day event, the UN Headquarters and the New York City Bar Association hosted as many as 53 outstanding panels, while the select guests and speakers also attended the gala dinner at the prominent Metropolitan Club.

As part of his stay in New York, as well as in Los Angeles Mr. Verbič also visited and addressed American actors and screenwriters ON STRIKE (VIDEO: www.facebook.com/vzmd.si/videos/598723519122361/), who are members of the professional associations SAG-AFTRA (Screen Actors Guild - American Federation of TV & Radio Artists) and WGA (Writers Guild of America), where he was met with outstanding approval and applause.
