The forum which is organized jointly by the Ministry of Foreign affairs of the Republic of Slovenia and the Centre for European Perspective was attended by approximately 700 participants from 70 countries including numerous most important representatives in the area of politics, diplomacy and the economy from Slovenia, the region and beyond. Among others, the key forum participants were President of the Republic of Slovenia, Mr. Borut Pahor, Prime Minister of Slovenia, Mr. Miro Cerar, Speaker of the Senate of Canada, Mr. George Furey, President of the Republic of Croatia, Mrs. Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, President of the Republic of Albania, Mr. Edi Rama, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Former President of the Republic of Slovenia, Danilo Türk and Secretary-General of the World Tourism Organization, Taleb Rifai.

At the invitation of the organizers, the two-day event was traditionally attended by the VZMD President, Mr. Kristjan Verbič, who also this year took the opportunity for numerous discussions and informal meetings, primarily concerning the activities of the international business-investor programs Invest to Slovenia (investo.si) and International Investors` Network (invest-to.net).

After presentations in the past two years in Abu Dhabi, Astana, Almaty, Baku, Belgrade, Berlin,  Bled, Bratislava, Brussels, Buenos Aires, Buffalo, Bucharest, Cape Town, Celje, Chicago, Doha, Dubai, Vienna, Eindhoven, George Town, Grodno, Helsinki, Istanbul, Yaroslavl, Kiev, Copenhagen, Krakow, Ljubljana, Madrid, Milan, Minsk, Monaco, Montevideo, Moscow, New Delhi, New York, Ouagadougou, Paris, Piran, Praia, Priština, Reykjavik, San Francisco, Santiago, Skopje, Stockholm, Taipei, Tehran, Tel Aviv, Tirana, Tokyo, Toronto, Warsaw, Winnipeg, Vitebsk, Washington, Wroclaw, Wiesbaden and Zagreb, VZMD's international programs continue to provide efficient presence and presentation for its partners on five continents this year as well.
