VZMD.tv is publishing a video (VIDEO: https://youtu.be/xI0TIG3oFL8) of a particularly topical round table "Digital Transformation and Cybersecurity in Businesses" from the International Investor Conference which took place mid September in Bled, Slovenia and was organized by the Pan-Slovenian Investors\' & Shareholders\' Association (VZMD) and the European Federation of Investors and Financial Services Users (BETTER FINANCE).
The round table was moderated by the Chairman of the Slovenian Business and Research Association in Brussels (SBRA) and the founding member and the first director of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange Mr. Draško Veselinovič, while the State Secretary Mr. Peter Geršak, substituting the Minister of the Republic of Slovenia for digital transformation, and Mr. Dušan Caf, CEO of the Digitas Institute, also participated in the discussion. During the discussion, plans and goals aimed at turning Slovenia into one of the most developed countries in the area of digitalization were presented, as well as some successful cases from abroad. Moreover, participants in the discussion touched upon the influence of the pandemic on the digitalization of the society, as well as related opportunities, dangers and challenges.
