The strong economic delegation - apart from the representatives of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia, Slovenian Sovereign Holding, Bank Assets Management Company, Slovenian Tourist Organization, SPIRIT Slovenia, Canadian-Slovenian Chamber of Commerce - will also consist of 20 representatives from Slovenian companies. This visit to Canada will already be the third one since 2013 when the VZMD President took part in the business conference and individual meetings with representatives from Canadian companies and institutions in Toronto, whereas individual partners investo.si and invest-to.net were exhibited at the fair Gourmet Food & Wine Expo. Back then, Mr. Verbič had met with many representatives and prominent members of the Slovenian community in Canada, while in May last year as a member of the economic delegation SPIRIT Slovenia in the Canadian town of Winnipeg he attended the 4th international conference Centrallia focused on business growth, establishing new business partnerships and exploring new global markets.

Upon conclusion of the delegation program in Canada, the VZMD President will leave for Washington to attend the reception hosted by the International Union for Housing Finance (IUHF) at the invitation of the organizers. The VZMD has been collaborating with this reputable association since the last year’s international congress of the European Federation of Building Societies (EFBS), which took place in Budapest and Mr. Verbič was invited to be a speaker.

Also on these occasions, it will be taken care of efficient presentation of companies, institutions and investment projects included in the VZMD's international business-investor programs.
