Monaco is currently hosting the prestigious international financial forum called "IMpower - Incorporating FundForum", organized by Informaconnect, where numerous decision-makers and highest representatives of institutional investors, funds, asset managers, financial experts etc. are discussing the situation in the global investment market.
Over 350 renowned speakers are focused mainly on short- and long-term challenges of asset management, the future, and various development paths as well as financial industry alternatives. The speakers sharing their perspectives include Jennifer Johnson, the president and CEO of Franklin Templeton, Sandro Pierri, the CEO of BNP Paribas Asset Management, Samantha Ricciardi, the global CEO of Santander Asset Management, Julia Hoggett, the CEO at London Stock Exchange, Herve Ordioni, the CEO at Edmond de Rothschild (Monaco), David Semaya, the executive chairman at Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Asset Management, Sylvia Kiesewalter, the director of Black Rock Solutions, Clare Bromiley-Carmen, Bernard Ferran, the director at Euroclear, and many others.
Mr. Kristjan Verbič, the President of VZMD, who is attending the event as a member the executive board of the European Federation of Investors (BETTER FINANCE) and is the only guest and participant from Slovenia, spoke to the listed individuals, organizers, and many other prominent participants. Mr. Verbič arrived to Monaco directly from the meeting with the team and the management of BETTER FINANCE in Brussels; he attended the gala banquet at the Fairmont Hotel on Tuesday, while last evening he attended the special event in support of the Blue Marine Foundation.
As always, Mr. Verbič also took an opportunity to present the investment opportunities, activities, and possibilities included in the VZMD's international business-investor programs VZMD: Invest to Slovenia – investo.si and International Investors` Network – investo.international. After attending the meeting of the Executive Board of the World Federation of Investors (WFI) in Ghent, the meeting at BETTER FINANCE in Brussels, and the on-going forum in Monaco, Mr. Verbič will continue his international tour by attending the annual congress of the European business angel network (EBAN) in Cork, Ireland, and the forum of the Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA) in London.
